SciArt Exchange and NASA Earth Science want your help to educate and inspire people of all ages about how NASA's space science helps us here on Earth.

Join us as we launch our Science in Action Comic Contest in collaboration with NASA Earth! Experts from each NASA story and one of our artist judges will be present to answer your questions about adapting these stories into comic art! 

​The event will include the contest launch announcement, short video previews for each of the three story themes for the contest and a Q&A with our story scientists and an artist judge to answer your questions about the contest!

What do we Want?

SciArt Exchange and NASA are looking for participants to adapt one (or more) of three success stories from NASA Earth Science about their impact on water, land and air into comic style artwork. More information and resources about the stories will be available to inspire you when the contest opens!

Who can participate?

There are two age groups for this free international contest:
• High school-aged artists 14-18 years old
• Adult artists 18+ years old​
Everyone who is eligible is encouraged to submit comics for this contest!

When is the contest?

This contest will be open for six weeks from July 2 - August 13.

Who is judging the artwork?

NASA and SciArt Exchange are working with notable comic artists, illustrators, astronauts ​and scientists to help select the contest winners.
