A DEEP SPACE ENCOUNTER LIKE NO OTHER
Today, technologies like James Webb Space Telescope are opening more and more of deep space to us. It’s time that our understanding of what’s out there expands too. Sensing Deep Space: Pandora’s Cluster is a multisensory experience that merges art and science while taking visitors on a tour through new discoveries in the Pandora’s Cluster region of space to help us truly grasp what’s out there.

EXPERIENCE DEEP SPACE BEYOND THE CONTRAINTS OF HUMAN PERCEPTION
A STELLAR SYMPHONY...
Drawing inspiration from the extraordinary Pandora's Cluster, a galactic collision of several galaxy clusters located approximately 4 billion light-years away. The collisions of galaxies result in gravitational lensing, which bends and distorts light, providing us with a visual spectacle.
The awe-inspiring Pandora's Cluster, a realm too distant and unfathomable for human feet to tread, is now attainable through the exquisite marriage of artistry and science. |
...UNVEILED IN A MULTISENSORY SPECTACLE
Astronomers have been studying this region for decades, using Hubble, Spitzer, Chandra telescopes and most recently James Webb Space Telescope.
The James Webb Space Telescope revolutionizes our deep space exploration, offering humanity a portal into the inaccessible cosmos. Allowing the creation of a spellbinding installation that shatters the boundaries of earthly experience, enabling visitors to traverse the untraversable. |
