Sensing Deep Space: Pandora’s Cluster
"Sensing Deep Space: Pandora's Cluster" captivated audiences, providing an immersive journey into the cosmos. Drawing inspiration from a distant galactic collision studied by astronomers for decades, the installation utilized cutting-edge technology, including data from the James Webb Space Telescope, to transport visitors to the unattainable depths of space. Building on this success, we aim to expand our efforts to educate about the fascinating fusion of art and science, bringing more people into the fold of cosmic exploration and creativity. Youth Art Competition celebration
We kicked off the artwork tour for the 2019 international, Moon-themed, Youth Art Competition artwork with a Celebration at the amazing Vortex Dome Los Angeles! We had a great evening exploring space and art, munching treats, and celebrating the artwork and artists with a great youth artwork show. Our wonderful host Blake Lewis and fantastic event sponsors OWC, Honeybee Robotics, Artist Relations, The Mayfair Hotel LA, and others were there as well! We also got to meet a few of our winners, and enjoyed entertainment by Dave Kim and Derek Day!
