Stardust and Spectacles: Highlights from the Texas Eclipse Festival!

The Texas Eclipse Festival recently lit up the Lone Star State with an epic event that left attendees starry-eyed and inspired!  Dr. Jancy McPhee took center stage not once, but twice at the "Space Stage." With her captivating talks, Dr. McPhee illuminated the parallels between artistry and scientific innovation, proving that when these worlds collide, magic happens.

But the real stars of the show? The artworks themselves! The festival showcased stunning pieces from our very own Design Your Habitat 2.0 campaign, alongside a constellation of art from previous contests and campaigns from across the globe. It was a visual feast that truly transported us to otherworldly realms.

Of course, no space celebration would be complete without a visit from our celestial neighbor, the solar eclipse. While weather played its part in canceling some events, and some dusting decided to join the party, Dr. McPhee summed it up best: "Despite the Mars-like dust, the festival was out of this world!"
